It is always a big pleasure to go to a party where Ricardo is working as a Dj and it makes me decide whether I'm going to attend it or not. The music is always good and it's notorious that he does a good research to guarantee he plays new songs and I see myself all the time asking him which song he is playing to add to my playlist. Also, the fact that he is a dancer makes him have a better notion of what the dance floor wants/needs. Thank you for all the good parties I had because of you!

Such a pleasure it is to go where Ricardo Silva is puting music. As a teacher and artist we go to parties with so many different Djs that it ends up being difficult to have our favourites. But DJ RSilva is by far one of my favourite SBK Djs. He always puts the right music in each party. It's like he knows what i want to dance to next. Not sure if it is because he is also a great dancer so he knows how it is to be in the other side, on the dancefloor; If it is the beautiful way he reads the crowd; or if it is because how much he studies and he spends time researching for the best songs and asking people what is on.
Whatever the reason it's that makes him a great DJ, I can only thank you Ricardo and congratulate you on your work. And the best part is due to his great work i end up asking him for different colaborations with me which made me knowing him as a person and his beliefs. This made me understanding how profesional he is and how working with him just flows.
Really good fun to work with and also love the way he thinks and talks about diferent topics that need sharing to bring awareness to the dance scene. Congrats, and hopefully see you soon in a festival around the world.

Ricardo's set will surely keep you dancing on the dancefloor till the end. I'm always eager to listen to him as he is always trying to surprise his audience while keeping an eye at the dancefloor and people's responses. Hard job, huh? I discovered latin music by chance. We stayed together ever since.
First of all, a fan of music. That's my starting point. I have been passionate about music since a young age, collecting CD's and looking for new music on a regular basis. My first love was progressive rock at 16. Then came eletronic music during college.
I then discovered latin dance and latin music at the same time, when I attended a dance class. I was 25 back then. Dancing started to be a part of my life. And because I always had this passion for music, I started listening to latin music everyday, discovering new music and falling in love for it day after day. The rest is history. It's a passion, and when you' re passionate about something, it just runs throught your veins. It's the reason you were born.
Learning every day, do your best, and play for the people. Those are my main goals!
